Lava Shield Adhesive Backed Heat Shield Mat by Heatshield Products 60" x 48"

Lava Shields by Heatshield products feature a uniquely woven material made from volcanic rock (basalt fiber). This design gives the mat a unique look while making it over 25% stronger than comparable fiberglass based mats. It is also far more resistant to fraying. The basalt fiber is naturally chemical, acid, water and fungus resistant. It is also noncombustible.

Lava Shields can withstand heat of up to 1200 degrees continuous and up to 2000 intermittent (Fahrenheit) This heat shield barrier cloth can be used with less than 1” of clearance (however a 3/8” minimum is encouraged).

This Lava Shield has an adhesive backing and measures 60" x 48". It can easily be cut to any desired size. The part number is 770005
